Medal count? You mean USA was the first and second loser the most? Last I checked Canada had 14 Gold Medals, which is a new Winter Games record. All I will say is that Canada has the 4th highest quality of life on Earth. The US is embarrassingly lower at 13 and Russia? Not even in the top 20. We have a higher standard of living on average (UN development report), and are respected on the world stage. Every country on Earth (besides the US) measures Olympic success by using the GOLD MEDAL count. Who won the most golds? That’s right – Canada did my friend. But we as Canadians know that we don’t even need a single medal in any event to know we live in the best nation on Earth =)

How did Russia come up in this coversations? Last time I checked, even the Russian president was disgusted by their results. Nice excuse… The Olympics were in North America shithead, therefore the teams play on North American sized ice. Don’t make excuses for the Russian team full of “individual” stars. They play on the same-sized ice surface as everyone else in the NHL.
